Erica Wirtz has been with Wells Fargo since 2006 working as an Assistant Vice President on the Enterprise Incident Management Team (EIMT). The EIMT is responsible for Wells Fargo’s crisis response and emergency preparedness program; training team members, monitoring events and activating and providing support to all of Wells Fargo in response to a threat. Erica specifically works on the communication side of the team including incident response communications, internal social networks, websites, blogs, newsletters and high level reporting.
Erica received her Bachelors of Science Degree at Minnesota State University, Mankato in Marketing, Management and Business Administration. Out of college, Erica spent two years at Best Buy’s corporate office in Demand Planning opening up new stores.
Erica has been on the Executive Board of the InfraGard Minnesota Members Alliance, a partnership between the FBI and the private sector, since 2006. The majority of those years were spent at the Chapter Secretary but stepped down to take on the role as Communications Chair. Since 2012, Erica has also served as the Communications Chair on the Regional Consortium Coordinating Council, a Department of Homeland Security critical infrastructure partnership council. Other partnership involvement includes MN ASIS, BCPA, MEMA and CERT.
Erica and her husband have two daughters and live in the western suburbs with their two cats and dog. Erica enjoys traveling, photography, reading, yoga, and running. Any additional free time is spent volunteering at her children’s schools, coaching her daughters or helping out at her favorite animal rescue, Safe Hands.
